If you fail to appear in court, you have 14 days to contact the court, for payment/payment arrangements or to reschedule your appearance date (only one reschedule is allowed). If you fail to contact the court within the 14 days, a conviction will be entered on your driving record and fines will double.
You will have 30 days to make your payment. If payment is not received, the court, will notify DMV to suspend your driving privileges and your account will be sent to our collection agency, Valley Credit Service Inc.
If your citation is sent to a collection agency, as provided for in ORS 293.231, you are hereby notified that a collection fee of 25% will be added to your principal balance. If you move out-of-state and this debt is assigned to an out-of-state agency, the collection fee will increase to 40%.
