Crime Prevention Program
Stopping Crime Before It Occurs
One of the most effective tools in fighting crime is crime prevention - stopping crime before it occurs. The Fairview Police Department has several crime prevention programs that strive to protect homes, your vehicles, your bank accounts, and most importantly, you and your family. These programs include: Bicycle Helmet Program, National Night Out, and Neighborhood Watch.

Neighborhood Watch
One of the most important prevention programs is Neighborhood Watch. This is a program that allows communities to bond through service, and to show how they are taking charge of their neighborhoods to fight crime. The City of Fairview currently has 5 active Neighborhood Watch groups. Neighborhood Watch is just one of many tools that can be used in crime prevention. If you would like more information regarding crime prevention or Neighborhood Watch, please contact Officer Eric Flener or Officer Pooja Singh with any and all thoughts or questions.
