The Fairview City Council unanimously authorized creating a Relief Assistance Program for Fairview businesses and residents who have experienced a loss in income due to COVID-19. Eligible applicants may receive a credit on their utility bill for up to four months of base utility fees. Those who do not have a Fairview utility account may be eligible to receive the credit in the form of a payment to be used for rent relief.

“The Fairview City Council understands the financial hardship COVID-19 has created for many of our Fairview businesses and citizens. This Relief Program is an opportunity to provide some relief to those adversely affected.” Mayor Brian Cooper.
