At 8:00 pm on Wednesday, November 7, 2018 the Fairview City Council will hold a public hearing and consider an ordinance for the adoption of the proposed Fairview Urban Renewal Plan.  The hearing will be in Council Chambers, Fairview City Hall, 1300 NE Village Street Fairview, Oregon 97024.

A copy of the ordinance, the proposed Fairview Urban Renewal Plan and accompanying report will be available on the City of Fairview website or by contacting Nolan Young, City Administrator at 503.674.6221 or youngn@ci.fairview.or.us

The proposed maximum indebtedness for the Fairview Urban Renewal Plan  is $51,000,000. The ordinance, if approved, is subject to referendum.  The adoption of the Plan would impact property tax rates for general obligation bonds approved by voters prior to October 6, 2001. In Fairview there is only one bond issued by the Reynolds School District that will be impacted by urban renewal for one year. The Reynolds School District will still receive their full share of the bond. The estimated impact of this bond on the property tax payer is 7 cents per $100,000 of assessed value for one year only.
