Seeking Candidates for the Mt. Hood Cable Regulatory Commission

The Fairview City Council is seeking to appoint a representative to the Mt. Hood Cable Regulatory Commission (MHCRC). This is one of eight volunteer community members representing Multnomah County and the Cities of Fairview, Gresham, Portland, Troutdale and Wood Village. The MHCRC advocates for and protects the public interest in the regulation and development of cable communications systems; monitors and helps resolve cable subscribers' concerns in these jurisdictions; and participates in the planning and implementation of community uses of communications technologies which utilize the public right of way.

Applications will be accepted until the Commissioner position is appointed. The first review of applications will be February 8, 2018. Please submit the Boards/Commission Application to the City Recorder. Applications are also available at Fairview City Hall.
